Driving directions from Interstate 5

1. Interstate 5 to Genesee Ave. Exit
2. West on Genesee Ave.
3. First Left on North Torrey Pines Road
4. First Left on Northpoint Drive (parking passes are available at the Information Booth)
5. (Nothpoint turns into Hopkins Drive)
6. Left on Voight Drive
7. Park in Lot 502 (with parking pass)
8. Engineering Building Unit 1 is Building #600 on the map.

Parking on UCSD campus is quite difficult. Although there are metered spaces at most lots, it is easier to purchase a one day parking pass from the information booths located at the Gilman Drive and Northpoint Drive entrance. These permits allows one to park in either the green "B" spaces or the yellow "S" spaces. Currently (2004), the price of this pass is $6.

The closest parking lot to this building for which this pass is valid is lot P502. Lots P510 and the Gilman Parking Garage (Building 783, Gilman Drive and Villa La Jolla Drive) are also within a five minute walk.
